Business School Held Experience Exchange Seminar on EQUIS Accreditation

On the afternoon of January 12, the Business School held an Experience Exchange Seminar on EQUIS(European Quality Improvement System) Accreditation. Chen Yuzhou, the deputy director of the International Cooperation & Accreditation Office of the School of Economics and Management at Tongji University (Tongji SEM), was invited to share her experiences. Liu Weiwei, Vice Dean of the Business School, and members of the School's EQUIS Accreditation Working Group attended the meeting, which was chaired by Liu Weiwei. 

Liu Weiwei extended a warm welcome to Chen Yuzhou. He emphasized that EQUIS accreditation serves as a vital driver for the School's high-quality development, with the on-site evaluation being a critical phase of the accreditation process. He noted that Tongji SEM's extensive experience and remarkable achievements in EQUIS accreditation offer invaluable lessons for the our school.

Chen Yuzhou expressed gratitude for the invitation and shared Tongji SEM's practices and considerations during the accreditation. She focused on the preparation of accreditation materials and the arrangements for expert on-site visits, offering comprehensive advice on potential challenges.

During the discussion session, the working group members engaged with Chen Yuzhou on key topics such as the on-site evaluation process, experts' focal points, and strategies to highlight the School's strengths.

EQUIS accreditation covers multiple dimensions, including talent cultivation, academic research, and international collaboration. Moving forward, the School will align with accreditation standards, deepen industry-academia-research integration, and strive to achieve the goal of becoming a world-renowned business school.
