On the afternoon of March 9, a delegation comprising Rick Tay, Director of the International Education Centre at Singapore Management University (SMU); Summer Lim, Programme Executive of the same centre; and Fu Pan, General Manager of Shanghai Shiqi Education Technology Co., Ltd., visited the Business School. Liu Weiwei, Vice Dean of the Business School, Xie Wei, Director of the International Affairs Office, and other faculty members attended the meeting. The meeting was presized over by Liu Weiwei.

Liu Weiwei extended a warm welcome to the SMU delegation. He provided an overview of the university and the Business School, emphasizing recent developments in international exchanges. He analyzed trends in students' choices of study destinations, comparing factors such as educational quality, cultural environment and cost of living across different countries and regions.

Rick Tay expressed his gratitude for the warm reception. He mentioned that SMU's International Education Centre actively promoted the university's internationalisation, providing a diverse range of platforms for international exchange and cooperation for both students and staff. Summer Lim introduced SMU's Visiting Student Programme(VSP), covering aspects such as disciplines, admissions policies, and entry requirements. She placed particular emphasis on the Pre-Experience Master's Programme, detailing its preferential policies regarding credit unit exemptions and tuition fee discounts.

Both sides engaged in a lively discussion focusing on the Memorandum of Understanding(MOU), curriculums, student cultivation, graduate employment prospects, as well as industry trends.
This meeting has strengthened the collaborative partnership between the two universities. Both sides look forward to deepening their cooperation in areas such as short- and long-term student exchanges, as well as joint student cultivation. This will be achieved by introducing high-quality international educational resources, with the aim of achieving complementary advantages and mutual benefits.
