On the afternoon of July 25, йдаралиев Байыш Айдаралиевич, Representative of the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Shanghai and Jiangsu Province; Тыныбеков Бекжан Шадимуратович, Director of the Free Economic Zones and Public-Private Partnership Department under the State Investment Agency directly affiliated to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic; Wang Kuncheng, Chairman of Shanghai Ernte Group Co., Ltd., and Yang Mengzhu, Special Assistant to the Chairman, visited the Business School. Zhao Laijun, Dean of the Business School; Zhao Jing, Vice Dean and Director of the Smart City Transportation Research Institute; and Xie Wei, Director of the Internationalization Office attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Zhao Jing.
Exchange and Discussion
Zhao Laijun extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He introduced the school's history, disciplinary structure, faculty development and scientific research progress, and shared achievements in advancing international accreditations and deepening global exchanges and cooperation. He also elaborated on the school's educational features and core strengths rooted in national strategic demands and industry-university-research integration, demonstrating the comprehensive educational capacity of the Business School.
Zhao Jing delivered a special presentation on the Transportation Engineering program, covering its development trajectory, hardware facilities of the Driving Behaviour Laboratory and latest research outputs. He illustrated the school's strategic layout in frontier areas including smart transportation, urban traffic governance and driving behaviour research. He noted that he had fully presented the school's strengths and vision for international cooperation at the China-Kyrgyzstan Economic and Trade Forum held on July 24, and this meeting served as a follow-up and in-depth extension of the forum exchanges.

Xie Wei introduced the school's international education programs and customized executive training programs run by the EDP Centre. She shared experience from four sessions of short-term study programs jointly carried out with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. She expressed hopes to explore innovative educational cooperation models with Kyrgyz higher education institution.
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, йдаралиев Байыш Айдаралиевич briefly introduced the role and achievements of the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a bridge facilitating bilateral economic and trade exchanges. He spoke highly of the school's education quality and international development outcomes, and proposed establishing a long-term cooperation mechanism to carry out regular collaboration in joint talent cultivation, academic exchanges and enterprise resource matching.
After the meeting, accompanied by Zhao Jing, the delegation toured the Driving Behaviour Laboratory. Zhao demonstrated the operation of simulation platforms and data acquisition systems, and explained relevant technological applications in the intelligent transportation industry.

This exchange has established a cooperation channel between the Business School and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the wider Central Asian region. Leveraging respective resource advantages and the Belt and Road Initiative, both sides will advance pragmatic cooperation in international talent training, transport science and innovation research, and industrial collaborative services, striving to forge a new model for integrated development of China-Kyrgyzstan education and economy.
