The Delegation of LES Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Shanghai) Visited the Business School

On March 28, a delegation from LES Information Technology Co., Ltd. Shanghai (LES Info Shanghai) visited the Business School. Yu Jichao, deputy general manager of LES Info Shanghai, and Yang Qiming, partner of CTTIC Fund came to exchange. Ma Jingbo, secretary of the Party Committee of USSTBS, Gu Changgui, director of the Department of Systems Science, Liu Weiwei, director of the Department of Transportation System Engineering, and Fang Zhiming, secretary-general of the School of Intelligent Emergency Management (SIEM), attended the exchange meeting.

Ma Jingbo, on behalf of USSTBS, expressed his warm welcome to the visit of LES Info Shanghai. He introduced the Business School’s history, faculty team, discipline construction, scientific research achievements and internationalization process. He hoped that the exchange meeting would be an opportunity to bring mutual benefits and lead to more collaborations in the future.

Yu Jichao expressed his gratitude for the Business School’s reception. He gave an overview of the 28th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation and LES Info. He expressed his expectation of promoting cooperation between the university and enterprises in various fields, such as smart city, smart transportation and emergency management, which would further facilitate the industry-academia-research collaboration.

Yang Qiming introduced the industrial investment layout of CTTIC Fund, while Wang Ziyao presented the organizational structure, team building, and main business development of LES Info Shanghai; and then Liu Weiwei shared the scientific research achievements of the discipline of transportation engineering and the Smart Urban Mobility Institute, while Fang Zhiming shared the information of the School of Intelligent Emergency Management.

The attendees engaged in an in-depth discussion on emergency management, smart transportation, smart city and other related topics. This exchange served to establish a strong foundation for future collaborations and build a bridge of communication between the participants.
