Professor Chen Song, Deputy Secretary of School of Economics and Management, Tongji University visit our institute to guide EQUIS and AACSB certification

On the morning of May 27th, Professor Chen Song, Deputy Secretary of the School of Economics and Management of Tongji University and his colleague were invited to visit our college to guide the work related to international certification. Dean Zhao Laijun, Secretary Wang Wei, members of the leadership team, dean assistances and all members of the Internationalization Construction Office attended the report.

Dean Zhao Laijun first thanked Secretary Chen for supporting the AACSB certification of our institute on behalf of the institute, and urged Secretary Chen to give great support and help to our institute's future EQUIS certification. Secretary Chen has long been in charge of the certification work of international authoritative business schools such as EQUIS and AACSB of Tongji University. He made a keynote report on International Experience Sharing in the School of Economics and Management of Tongji University for all participants. He first introduced the process and characteristics of EQUIS certification, the similarities and differences between EQUIS and AACSB, the key points of AACSB recertification, and the problems and solutions encountered by the School of Economics and Management of Tongji University in the process of applying for EQUIS certification. He emphasized the four elements of certification: strategic positioning, governance structure, process sorting, and quality improvement, while the core issues depended on the strategic customization of vision and mission, and the continuous improvement of the institute's teaching, research, and management levels through certification. In addition, Secretary Chen also shared the experience and measures of the internationalization construction of the School of Economics and Management of Tongji University.

After the theme report, Secretary Chen made in-depth communication about a number of issues concerning the college vision and mission, subject development, the introduction and cultivation of high-level talents, the publication of high-level achievements, the cultivation of students, the construction of organizations, international certification, etc.

The report lasts till 12pm. Finally, Dean Zhao Laijun thanked Secretary Chen and his colleague for their continuous support to our institute and exchanged souvenirs with Secretary Chen.
