On May 14, by the invitation of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Business School and Shanghai Metro Maintenance Guarantee Co., Ltd. held an industry-university cooperation meeting in conference room 506. The attendees included Zhou Le, General Manager of Shanghai Metro Maintenance and Guarantee Co., Ltd.; Huang Kai, Deputy General Manager; Pan Shun, Chief Engineer; Song Jie, Personnel Supervisor; Ying Shunjie, Secretary, and Professor Ye Chunming, Professor Li Junxiang, Associate Professor Li Lin,Associate Professor Li Fang, Associate Professor Liu Qinming of Department of Industrial Engineering; and Shu Yiming, Director of the College’s Academic Affairs Office.
At the meeting, Director Shu Yiming introduced the undergraduate talent training of the college, and Liu Qinming, the director of the Industrial Engineering Department, introduced the talent training and teaching research of the Industrial Engineering Department. Afterwards, General Manager Zhou Le introduced the development history of Shanghai Subway Maintenance Company and the demand for talents. He put forward the talent needs from four aspects：the group purchasing platform’s comprehensive procurement business, operating equipment and materials supply, vehicle base property management, and group catering management. Other teachers also shared relevant experience in scheduling, maintenance, quality and supply chain management.
The two parties conducted exchanges and discussed the student internship practices, corporate mentors, school-enterprise cooperation, etc., and also exchanged opinions on how to build an industrial college, laying the foundation for further exchanges and cooperation.
