Recently, the opening ceremony of the 2019 MBA·MPA·MEM·MPAcc of Business School was held in the first conference room. Vice President Ping LIU, Director of Graduate Department Dong WEI, Party Secretary of Business School Wei WANG, Vice Dean of Business School, and also Deputy Director of the Professional Degree Education Center Yongqing ZHANG, Deputy Party Secretary of the School Xiuwen YAO, Director of MEM Shaorong SUN, teacher and Mentor representatives, and all the MBA, MPA, MEM, MPAcc freshmen attended this ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Yongqing ZHANG.
Secretary WANG delivered a speech on behalf of Business School, and expressed her heartfelt congratulations and warm welcome to the freshmen of MBA, MPA, MEM and MPAcc. She encouraged the students to earnestly understand the school motto of Carrying on its motto of “Integrity, Righteousness, Diligence, Love, Pondering, Learning, Aspiration, Ambition”, and earnestly practice the core values of responsibility, integration, innovation and excellence. Take today as a starting point to create and realize their own wonderful life.
YAO, deputy Party secretary, announced the decision on awarding new scholarships to MBA, MPA, MEM, and MPAcc freshmen in 2019. Associate Professor Xiuli GENG made a speech on behalf of the teachers. Ya Qian, a 2018 graduate student of MEM, and Zhihong GAO, a freshman of 2019 MPAcc, spoke on behalf of the students.
Finally, Vice President LIU extended a warm welcome to the new students on behalf of the faculty and staff of the University! He hoped that the students would grasp the direction of life, strive to break through themselves, and shine with youthful brilliance in hard work and struggle during the time spent at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology!
