On the afternoon of May 28th, the 2019 Business Administration (Sino-American Cooperation) Major Graduation Ceremony of the School of Management was held in the first conference room of the Graphic Information Center. Vice President Wu Zhong, and Dean of the School of Economics and Public Management, University of North Dakota, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology Dr. Amy Henley, leaders of the School of Management and representatives of Chinese and foreign teachers attended the ceremony. All graduates of Business Administration (Sino-US Cooperation) and some parents attended the ceremony. The graduation ceremony was presided over by Yao Xiuwen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management.
The graduation ceremony began with the solemn national anthem. On behalf of the school, Professor Wu Zhong extended warm congratulations to all graduates and raised ardent expectations. Wang Wei, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, announced the commendation decision on outstanding graduates. Wu Zhong awarded honorary certificates to 10 outstanding graduates including Li Jian and 3 outstanding graduates of Shanghai including Chen Meitong. Professor Amy Henley of the University of North Dakota in the United States delivered a passionate speech and awarded graduation certificates to every graduate on behalf of the University of North Dakota. Afterwards, Mr. Zuo Jingjing spoke on behalf of all the teachers, congratulating and encouraging the graduates. The graduate representative Zhao Pei expressed his gratitude and nostalgia to the school, teachers and classmates by reviewing four years of university life. Business administration (Sino-American cooperation) students presented the gift of “Peaches and Plums in the World” jade safety buckle ornaments to their alma mater, which means that the students of Confucianism are grateful to their alma mater, and the teachers of the school are grateful for the indoctrination of us. Every word and every sentence will be remembered in heart. Peach and plum do not say anything, the next step is self-explanatory, and we hope that our school will prosper and continue to make brilliant achievements in the future.
The graduation ceremony came to an end in “Shanghai University of Technology Song”. After the meeting, all the participants took a group photo to record this precious moment.
