On the afternoon of May 16, Rolf Appelkvist and Klas Hakan Alm, heads of Sino-Swiss projects from Borås University in Sweden, came to our school to discuss the continued cooperation between the two parties. The “Sino-Swiss Joint Training Project” in cooperation with the Institute of Technology and Management of Borås University in Sweden has been implemented since 2011. Within the validity period of the project agreement, a total of 6 students have been enrolled. The total number of students is 85, and the total number of students from our school to Sweden is 32.
As the “Sino-Swiss Joint Training Project” agreement is about to expire, the two parties believe that further detailed discussions on future cooperation are needed based on the current changes in internal and external environmental factors. Zhang Zheng, Deputy Dean of the School of Management, Wang Yonglian, Director of the Office of Professional Degree Center and Secretary of the Department of International Trade, Xu Xiaobing, former Associate Professor of the Department of Information Management and Information Systems, Zhang Xinrui, Director of the Office of Internationalization Construction, and Secretary Xie Wei participated in the meeting. Zhang Xinrui, Director of the Construction Office, presided over.
The two parties first discussed the current national and school-level foreign exchange policies and regulations, college-level teachers and teaching conditions, past and current students participating in the project; then, the two sides encountered problems in the process of cooperation They also exchanged views on the issues facing the continued cooperation. After discussion and negotiation, the two parties reached a preliminary consensus on the number of students, exchange time, application conditions, curriculum settings, and faculty ratio for future exchange projects, and agreed on the subsequent project agreement Draft and revise.
During this visit, Rolf Appelkvist and Klas Hakan Alm visited the Swedish students currently studying in our school and interviewed the students who are going to study in Sweden in 2020.
