On the afternoon of March 18th, President Bin HU, Party Secretary Jie ZHOU, Vice President Yong MENG, Vice President Yuewen LI, Deputy Party Secretary Yulian CHENG, Associate Professor Shuge TIAN and Office Director Hongjuan DING of the School of Management studies of Shanghai University of Engineering Science came to our school for AACSB international certification exchange and visit. The vice president Zheng ZHANG, Office Director of the Professional Degree Center, also the party branch secretary of the Department of International Trade Yonglian WANG, director of the International Office Xinrui ZHANG, and secretary Wei XIE, participated in the exchange activities.
ZHANG first extended a warm welcome to the leadership of the School of Management Studies, Shanghai University of Engineering Science. He shared the course of AACSB certification, the main problems and difficulties encountered in the certification, and the significance and influence of the AACSB certification on our school. ZHANG believed that although the AACSB certification process is difficult, the certification system and standards are of great significance to the development of the school.
HU thanked for the warm hospitality and thanked ZHANG for his detailed sharing. HU introduced the understanding and knowledge of their School on AACSB certification, and the current preparations for AACSB certification. MENG raised relevant questions from the four aspects, namely, the school’s support direction, the organization structure of the international certified office, international exchanges, and certification tutors. ZHANG, gave detailed answers one by one.
Subsequently, the participants conducted in-depth discussions and communication. ZHOU, TIAN, and CHENG, respectively consulted on the requirements of the faculty structure, the proportion of international students, and the specific requirements of students. The participants of our school gave their answers and shared with each other. Finally, President HU once again thanked the participants for their kind sharing and patient answers.
