On the afternoon of December 23, the 2019 “Teacher-Student Academic Community” sharing report of the Business School was held in the second conference room of the Business School. Wang Wei, secretary of the Party Committee of the Business School, Zhang Yongqing and Zhang Zheng, deputy deans, heads of various departments, representatives of teachers, representatives of counselors, and relevant members of the Academic Affairs, School Office, and International Construction Office attended the sharing meeting. This sharing session was especially valued by the International Exchange Office. Director Ma Xiaoting, Deputy Director Su Mingxu, and Liu Pinhan and Zhang Qian, who are in charge of going abroad on business (border) affairs, came to the sharing session for guidance. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Zheng, deputy dean of the Business School.
First of all, Deputy Dean Zhang Zheng reviewed the implementation of the eight “teacher-student academic communities” of the Business School in 2019, and expressed gratitude to the International Exchange Office for its support and help in this project.
Subsequently, Su Mingxu, deputy director of the International Exchange Office, gave a detailed introduction to the participants from the initiation, implementation, and 2020 plan of the “Teacher-Student Academic Community” project. For the achievements made in the “Community” project, I hope the Business School will continue to make efforts in 2020.
Then, the representatives of the 5 group members shared and reported on their group’s gains and gratitude during the exchange process with the participants. The groups participating in the sharing report are: Li Junxiang: Multi-channel contact center quality monitoring team; Zhu Xiaodong: Go to the research group of Professor Yang Yun at Swinburne University of Technology in Australia; Liu Lei: System Science Complex System Control Research Group; Li Bing: Exchange at the University of Western Australia Business School Team; Liu Qinming: A postgraduate academic exchange group to Taiwan in the summer of 2019.
At the end of the meeting, Wang Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Business School, made a concluding speech. Secretary Wang pointed out that 8 groups of the Business School can successfully participate in the “Teacher-Student Academic Community” project in 2019, which is inseparable from the strong support of the International Exchange Office. Going out of the country, learning from each other’s strengths, and improving the level of internationalization will not only greatly promote the future development of teachers and students, but it is also a requirement for the construction of high-level universities. Secretary Wang hopes that the delegations that have participated in this project can transform the results of this visit into the internal driving force to improve talent training, improve academic standards, and promote discipline construction. At the same time, he also hopes that the heads of each department will actively convey the spirit of the conference and the results achieved this year Based on this, we will achieve another good result in 2020.
