On October 24th, 2019 “Shanghai University Students Industrial Engineering Application and Innovation Competition”, the Intramural final competition, was held in the 2nd conference room in Business School. Qinming LIU, dean of the Department of Industrial Engineering, presided over the competition. As judges, Associate professor Yuhong TAI, dean of Teaching Department Yuying YANG, and Teacher Sun Junhua, participated in the final defense, awarding certificates to the representatives of the winning teams. The game ended well.
Preparations for the competition began in June and lasted for four months. All the faculty in the Department of Industrial Engineering of Business School participated in the preparations, including planning, topic selection, guidance, project book review, preliminary competition, finals and other links. A total of 38 students from Business School, School of Optical-Electrical and Computer Engineering, school of Mechanics signed up for the competition.
According to the selection principle, 6 teams won the first, second and third prizes respectively. See the table below for details.
