On November 1st, the final of the first Shanghai University Tax Case Competition, jointly organized by the China Industrial Machinery Auditing Society and the University of Shanghai for Science & Technology and hosted by the Department of Finance and Taxation of The Business School, the University of Shanghai for Science & Technology were held online in the form of a live webcast and Tencent Meeting. This competition received a positive response from universities and research institutes in Shanghai and they signed up for the competition one after another. Through selection at different levels, 14 teams including teachers and students from Shanghai Customs College and other universities finally entered the finals.
The opening ceremony of the finals was presided over by Teacher Wang Yuanwei form Department of Finance and Taxation, The Business School, University of Shanghai for Science & Technology. The judges who participated in the finals were Professor Cui Zhikun from Shanghai Customs College, Professor Peng Duanlian from Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance, Professor Li Xia from Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, and Associate Professor Zhang Qing from the University of Shanghai for Science & Technology. Mr. Tian Fa, Department of Finance and Taxation, The Business School, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, delivered speeches one after another.
After fierce on-site defense, 14 teams with 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 8 third prizes were finally won. The final closing ceremony was presided over by Mr. Tian Fa, Director of the Department of Finance and Taxation, The Business School, the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. The winners of the first prize, the second prize, and the third prize were announced respectively, and congratulations were extended to the winners.
