Wang Fenghua, the Director of the Academic Administration of Shanghai International Studies University, Visited the Business School to Carry Out the Communication Activity of AMBA Accreditation Work

On the morning of March 11th, Wang Fenghua, the director of the Academic Administration of Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), visited the Business School of USST to communicate about the AMBA (British Association for MBA) accreditation work and the relevant contents. The dean Zhao Laijun, vice-deans Zhang Yongqing, Zhang Zheng, and He Jianjia, and related teachers from the Professional Degree Education Center and the International Construction Office participated in this communication meeting.

During the meeting, dean Zhao extended a warm welcome to Wang’s arrival. Vice-deans Zhang and He exchanged ideas with Wang clearly and concisely on the international certification work. Wang praised the success of the AACSB certification work of the Business School. Following that, Wang introduced AMBA in detail as well as its application status of domestic colleges and universities. She believed that it is highly competitive for the domestic colleges and universities to apply for AMBA, and we must take action as quickly as possible. She also sorted out the process and the standard of the AMBA certification, and put forward the key points of the certification and the details of the materials that need to be paid attention to in the follow-up certification process. Several teachers from the Professional Degree Education Center and the International Construction Office of the Business School consulted Wang about the expert review of AMBA, the Self-Assessment Report (SAP), the project design of MBA, and other issues based on the realities of the Business School.Regarding this, Wang suggested some proposals in point.

This communication meeting has promoted the cooperation between the two universities, and also reached a consensus on multiple communications, multiple contacts, and mutual learning, which is of positive significance for the Business School to further improve the international certification work and enhance its influence.
