Business school (BS) held AACSB Accreditation program 2021 spring term AoL (Assurance of Learning) meeting. BS associate dean Zhang Yongqing, Zhang Zheng and He Jianjia, BS international office director Han Bing, undergraduate academic office director Shu Yiming, relevant course teachers, staff of graduate office, undergraduate academic office, MBA administration office and international office attended the meeting. The meeting was hold by BS associate dean He Jianjia.
BS associate dean He Jianjia first thanked attending teachers and staff for their support and effort for BS’s international work. He briefly introduced BS’s international work in 2020 and main tasks in 2021. He pointed out that AoL Assurance of Learning had important meaning for BS’s international work, which was an important step for promoting international accreditation. At the same time, carrying out program construction through accreditation and learn from international business accreditation norm would help improve business education, enhance BS teaching quality, set benchmark for standard teaching and promote education quality and effectiveness. At last, he suggested preparing for early thinking, early design and early arrangement for course construction of AoL next semester.
Han Bing introduced AoL test contents based on AACSB2020 standards for AoL, including undergraduate, masters and doctorate course selection, objective setting, course design and evaluation schema etc. Yang Yuying briefly introduced AoL course test scoring criteria, test material and course test document filling in etc.
Associate dean Zhang Zheng reviewed AoL undergraduate course test during first AACSB accreditation and encouraged teachers to carry out this round AoL undergraduate course test in detail. Associate dean Zhang Yongqing aimed at AoL graduate course test work and provided guidance for AoL course test work cooperation across departments.
At last, attending teachers discussed a series of specific problems including test objective, test method, results analysis, improvement measures etc.
