On October 27, WANG Songnian, vice chairman of the CPCC of Baoying County, Jiangsu Province, ZOU Kai, Party Secretary of Xianfengzhen Town, Baoying County, and WANG Xianwei, Deputy Party Secretary visited the USST-BS for exchange and investigation. WANG Wei, Party Secretary and Dr. HE Jianjia, vice dean of the USST-BS greeted the guests and both had an exchange with WANG Songnian and other delegates. The meeting was presided by Vice Dean HE Jianjia, attended by Prof. GU Changgui, director of the Department of Systems Science, Dr. ZHANG Baoming, director of the general office of EDP center, Dr. MU Nianguo, a faculty of our school who is working temperarily as Deputy Party Secretary of Luduo Town government in Baoying County, and Dr. ZHANG He, a faculty of the School of Environment and Architecture, and other faculties of relevant departments.

Vice Chairman WANG Songnian expressed his heartfelt thanks for the warm and thoughtful reception of the school, and praised the achievements of the school. Subsequently, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on specific issues such as technological cooperation and talent docking. Focusing on the promotion of talent, technology and other needs of Xianfengzhen, Director ZHANG Baoming, Director GU Changgui and Dr. ZHANG He exchanged views on relevant docking issues based on the facts about their own departments, disciplines and scientific research.
This meeting has shortened the distance and improved the mutual understanding between our school and Baoying County. It also promoted the scientific research achievements of both our faculties and and faculties of other schools, especially the development of the Yangtze River Delta.
