Updated:2022-05-05

On April 28, 2022, the Executive Development Program(EDP) Center of USST-BS and the University of Sunderland signed a cooperation agreement and the related memorandum.

After communications and discussions with the University of Sunderland, the EDP Center finally introduced joint education programs into USST-BS. The programs are based on the 2+2 and 1+3 models for undergraduate education, and are distinguished from other Sino-foreign by introducing pre-master course.

12+2 and 1+3 undergraduate education programs

After completing the first 1-2 years of courses in the EDP Center of USST-BS, students continue their study with the University of Sunderland and will obtain a bachelor's degree awarded by the University of Sunderland upon completion. The credits are mutually recognized. At the same time, students can continue to choose to pursue a master degree there.

2Pre-Master Program

Students who have obtained a college diploma, or finished undergraduate program in part-time without a bachelor's degree, or are currently in the middle of undergraduate education are qualified to enter the Master Program of the University of Sunderland, provided that they completed the 3-6 months of pre-master's courses in the EDP center.

Both parties hope to make full use of the advantages of Sino-British cooperation in the future. With years of teaching experience and international talent accumulation, they hope to cultivate more students with a global mindset in the future.
