On December 21, 2022, the Professional Degree Education Center of Business School of USST successfully held online the annual forum of Towards USST, Looking into the Future - and the appointment ceremony of external mentors. The invited guests included Zhang Yuekai, Vice President of Aortic, Peripheral Vascular Health and Vein Business of Medtronic China, Yang Zonghao, Chairman and President of Hezun Marketing Group (Outstanding alumnus of USST), Tong Shanggao, Vice General Manager of Shanghai Vody Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd(Outstanding alumnus of Class 2012 MBA of USST), Qiu Yumei, Founder and CEO of Ruiwen (Outstanding Alumni of USST Business School), Zhao Laijun, Dean of Business School, Zhang Zheng, Vice Dean of Business School, Ge Yuhui, Director of Department of Business Administration, and Fan Chongjun, Director of Smart Engineering Research Center of USST. The forum mainly consisted of two parts: academic lectures and industrial practice, which were discussed and exchanged from both theoretical and practical perspectives, and teachers and students of the Professional Degree Education Center participated in the forum online. It is emphasized that the Professional Degree Education Center of the Business School will continue to expand the team of external mentors and gather more business experts from different industries to cultivate outstanding elites for the school and empower students' career development and promotion. Prof. Ge Yuhui gave a lecture entitled Promoting the implementation of corporate culture and creating the journey of value-added behaviors, in which he elaborated on the theory of value-added behaviors to stimulate effective behaviors and restrain ineffective behaviors from shaping and guiding employees' behaviors, so as to enlarge the value of employees' behaviors. Professor Fan Chongjun gave a lecture entitled Digital Economy and Enterprise Digital Intelligence Transformation, introducing and analyzing the development and characteristics of digital economy and enterprise digital intelligence transformation at home and abroad in recent years.

Afterwards, Zhang Yuekai shared his keynote speech entitled Self-awareness and Leadership, emphasizing the importance of knowing oneself and the view that those who know others are wise and those who know themselves are wise. Yang Zonghao shared his keynote speech titled Promoting the deep integration of digital economy and real economy - O2O practice of Hezun Group and proposed that the future trend is digital economy integrated with new retail. In his keynote speech, Mr. Tong Shanggao shared his thoughts on the development of robotics industry in the new era from the perspective of new situation, new scenario, new technology and new products, and explained the development opportunities of robotics industry in the future. The keynote speaker was Qiu Yumei shared the theme of How to make a company an incubator for star employees, emphasizing the importance of persona positioning and diversifying personal brand style, and shared the successful experience of Ruiwen in shaping star employees.
