Business School Successfully Held the "I offer a proposal for the development of Shanghai" Contest

In order to thoroughly implement people's democracy in the whole process, practice General Secretary Xi Jinping's important concept of people's city is built by the people, and people's city is for the people, and give full play to the role of citizens in Shanghai's urban construction and development, the People's Proposal Solicitation Office of Yangpu District, Business School of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology jointly hold the proposal solicitation contest I offer a proposal for the development of Shanghai. The competition is specifically hosted by the Department of Public Administration of Business School. 

A total of 116 suggestions were collected in this contest. The suggestions reflect the hot issues that citizens care about from different perspectives and levels, and show the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity of citizens in participating in politics. After anonymous evaluation by the Shanghai Yangpu District People's Proposal Solicitation Office and experts organized by the Business School of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, one special prize, two first prizes, three second prizes and six third prizes were finally selected. See the following table for the specific winners, and the awarding arrangements will be announced separately.

More than 20 students from the Business School participated in this competition, among which 6 students won the special prize, the first prize, the second prize and the third prize. Through this contest, on the one hand, students are encouraged to observe the society more, understand the social situation and public opinion, learn to apply the theoretical knowledge they have learned to solve practical problems, and strengthen their sense of social responsibility. On the other hand, it has effectively promoted the cooperation between Business School and Yangpu District People's Proposal Solicitation Office in personnel training, which is of great significance for improving the quality of public management professionals in our college.
