In order to further promote the construction of the Industrial College, on February 1, our faculty Zhang Yongqing, Dong Jieshuang, Liu Weiwei, Li Wenxiang, Zhou Yiwei and others went to the Wenzhou Institute of Economic Construction and Planning to further discuss the issues related to the construction and development of the Industrial College, and conducted in-depth and systematic exchanges and discussions on the reform of state-owned enterprises and the construction and development of the newly established Wenzhou Institute of State-owned Enterprise Reform and Development. Zhao Xi, President of Wenzhou Institute of Economic Construction and Planning, Zhang Yinfeng and Li Yiman, Vice Presidents of Wenzhou Institute of Economic Construction and Planning, and key technical backbones participated in the forum. Previously, our school signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Wenzhou Institute of Economic Construction and Planning on July 17, 2021, and formally established Wenzhou industrial college of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
First of all, President Zhao Xi warmly welcomed the visit of our School, briefly introduced the establishment background of Wenzhou State-owned Enterprise Reform and Development Research Institute and its relationship with Wenzhou Institute of Economic Construction and Planning, and pointed out that the reform, innovation and development of state-owned enterprises will also be the key research direction of the Institute in the future. He hopes that the faculty of BS will actively participate and make suggestions for this purpose.
Subsequently, the two sides held a heated exchange and discussion on how to promote the construction and development of the newly established Wenzhou State-owned Enterprise Development Research Institute. Based on his rich professional knowledge and consulting practical experience, Professor Zhang Yongqing proposed suggestions for the layout of Wenzhou State-owned Enterprise Reform and Development Research Institute from the strategic guidelines and policies of the new round of state-owned enterprise reform since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, especially the historical background and strategic focus of the recent deepening of state-owned enterprise reform, and from the strategic positioning, development objectives, business focus, construction path, and recent work focus of the new high-end think tank. Associate professor Dong Jieshuang suggested that we should adhere to the development ideas of policy orientation, goal orientation and problem orientation, and promote the construction of Wenzhou State-owned Enterprise Reform and Development Research Institute and the related work. Associate professor Liu Weiwei proposed the construction path of talent pool + consulting pool. Other participating teachers also expressed their opinions and suggestions in different aspects. President Zhao Xi expressed his sincere gratitude to the teachers of BS for their active suggestions and gave a high evaluation. He also announced the appointment of Professor Zhang Yongqing as the general consultant on the spot to provide theoretical guidance and intellectual support for the reform and development of state-owned enterprises in Wenzhou.
Finally, the two sides carried out in-depth discussions on the next work priorities of the Industrial College, reached a consensus on cooperation in enterprise training, professional degree graduate training, research project development, student practice and other aspects, and also formulated a preliminary implementation plan, which laid a solid foundation for further promoting the construction and development of the Industrial College.
