On March 23rd, Zhang Lei, a private banking manager at the Shanghai branch of Bank of China, gave a lecture on Finance to undergraduate students majoring in finance at the Business School. Before the class, Zhao Jing, the vice dean of the Business School, introduced the characteristics of talent cultivation in the school to Zhang Lei. The director of the Department of Finance, Zhang Qinglong, the teacher Ren Danlei, undergraduate and graduate students majoring in related majors in the Business School, and others attended the lecture.
During the lecture, Zhang Lei first introduced the risk-return characteristics of various domestic and foreign assets in the past three years, and analyzed them from multiple perspectives such as the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fed's interest rate hikes, and the Silicon Valley Bank incident. Then, combining with the principles of asset allocation, she explained various methods of effective asset allocation and configuration from a professional perspective, and analyzed in-depth and easy-to-understand ways with vivid practical examples how resident families can build a pyramid-shaped asset planning and configuration on the basis of effectively balancing safety, liquidity and profitability, and how to prevent market risks by constructing family trusts. Finally, Zhang Lei had in-depth discussions with the students on how to use artificial intelligence for wealth management, how university students can better enter the wealth management industry through learning, and other issues.
