On the afternoon of March 28, 2023, the establishment conference of the Youth Teacher Growth and Development Promotion Association (hereinafter referred to as the Youth Promotion Association) of the Business School and the tutoring and training session for improving teachers' classroom teaching abilities were held in the lecture hall of the Business School. Vice President Zhang Hua attended the meeting, with Ma Jingbo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Business School, Zhao Laijun, Dean of the Business School, Huang Xuan, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Tong Yuanwei, Director of the Teacher Development Center, Li Chenxue, Vice Dean of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship School, and representatives of invited mentors and young teachers from the Promotion Association attending. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Jing, Vice Dean of the Business School.
On behalf of the school, Zhang Hua warmly congratulated the establishment of the Youth Promotion Association of the Business School and affirmed the profound significance of the establishment of the Youth Promotion Association of the Business School. He stated that the establishment of the Youth Promotion Association can better promote the transformation of young teachers from doctoral students to teachers, provide better conditions for young teachers to attend good classes and stand on good positions, and reflect that the Business School has entered a new stage in teacher development and educational reform. Huang Xuan provided a detailed introduction on the teaching issues that young teachers are concerned about, including the basic situation of undergraduate teaching, educational and teaching standards, and assessment of educational and teaching abilities. Tong Yuanwei emphasized the responsibilities of the Teacher Development Center and its role in teacher development, hoping that young teachers can continuously improve their own literacy under the guidance of the Youth Promotion Association. Li Chenxue stated that the Innovation and Entrepreneurship School currently integrates the school's innovation and entrepreneurship education resources, constructs an innovation and entrepreneurship education system, coordinates the implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship education work, actively guides and cultivates students' innovation awareness, stimulates innovative thinking, and also hopes that young teachers from the Business School can actively participate in innovation and entrepreneurship education.
Young teachers Sun Yu and Wang Yaopeng shared their teaching experiences from their own perspective and combined them with their actual curriculum situation. Invited instructor Li Zhengming provided teaching guidance on Talking about Classroom Teaching Ability, focusing on how to improve classroom teaching ability from five aspects: cultivating the appeal of good morality, the ability to prepare a bucket of water, the ability to collect students' difficult points, stimulating students' thinking ability, and logical reasoning ability.
