EDP Center Team Went to Qidong to Carry Out Research and Exchange

On April 7, Ge Yuhui, Executive Deputy Director of EDP Center, Zhang Baoming, Director of Comprehensive Office and a group of teachers from EDP Center went to Qidong, Jiangsu Province to carry out investigation on enterprises, visited Jiangsu Linyang Energy Co. Ltd. and Jiangsu Jiejie Microelectronics Co. Ltd., etc., investigated the production situation of the enterprises, and hold talks and exchanges with the executives of the enterprises as well as the person in charge of the human resources department to gain a deeper understanding of the practical problems encountered in the process of enterprise development. Yan Yingyi, an outstanding alumnus of the Business School, member of Qidong Municipal People's Congress and chairman of Huilong Town People's Congress, Huang Xinglei, secretary of the party committee and deputy general manager of Jiangsu Linyang Energy Co. Ltd., and Shen Xinxin, financial director of Jiangsu Jiejie Microelectronics Co. Ltd., and other enterprise leaders warmly received the visiting group.

During the investigation of Jiangsu Linyang Energy Co., Ltd, Ge Yuhui and his party visited Linyang Electric Meter and Power Terminal Intelligent Production Workshop respectively to understand the technical advantages and product applications of the enterprise in the fields of new energy, environmental protection and intelligent manufacturing, as well as its contribution to environmental protection and experiments and innovations in intelligent manufacturing. The two sides had in-depth discussions on topics such as employment needs of enterprises, talent training and human resource management.

In Jiangsu Jiejie Microelectronics Co. Ltd., Shen Xinxin firstly introduced the development history, overall scale, business scope and future plan of the enterprise, and talked about that Jiejie Micro is in the stage of rapid development, the scale of the enterprise is expanding rapidly, and the organizational structure of the group needs to be adjusted and optimized. At the same time, the group has encountered some problems and challenges such as talent loss. During the discussion with the representatives of human resources department, Ge Yuhui and his delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the demands and confusion of the enterprise in terms of talent training and management team building. Subsequently, both sides had an in-depth exchange on school-enterprise cooperation, talent training, and the development of integration of industry-university research.

The investigation research was conducted to provide valuable opportunities for the EDP Center to better understand the actual situation of each industry and the problems faced by the development of enterprises, and also to lay a solid foundation for future cooperation.
