This lecture is part of the series of activities of the Hujiang Economic Management Forum (the 63rd) and the Digital Economy Lecture Hall Series. It was organized by the Doctoral Program of Management Science and Engineering of the Business School and the E-commerce Development Research Institute of USST. The lecture was presided over by Professor Fan Chongjun of our school.

Chen Zhiwei first introduced the definitions of equity crowdfunding and excessive financing, and used Panda TV as an example to introduce the factors that affect the excessive financing behavior of equity crowdfunding platforms. He constructed a research model showing that confidence cues in fundraising project materials can be a key driver of overfunding.

After the speech, Chen Zhiwei had interactive communication with teachers and students, and provided detailed answers to their questions. This lecture provided a rare opportunity for academic exchange between our faculty and students.

During the reception, Chen Zhiwei and teachers of our school conducted in-depth discussions on joint training of graduate students, opening short-term courses, implementing scientific research achievements. Associate Professor Cai Zhao of University of Nottingham Ningbo China, Professor Fan Chongjun, Associate Professor Zhu Xiaodong and Liu Xiaohui of our school participated in the exchange.
