On July 3rd, 2023, Business School held the 2023 Shanghai Magnolia Talent Plan Pujiang Project Application counselling exchange meeting. Prof. Fan Tijun of East China University of Science and Technology, Profs. Liu Chun, Zhang Xiaoning of Tongji University, Prof. Xu Qi of Donghua University, and Prof. Zeng Saixing of Shanghai Jiao Tong University were specially invited to give guidance on the application and defense of teachers.The meeting was presided over by He Jianjia, vice dean of the Business School. Zhao Laijun, dean of the Business School, attended the meeting. Nearly ten teachers participated in the Counselling.
He Jianjia expressed his sincere thanks to all the experts for guiding the teachers of the Business School on their busy schedule, hoped that all the experts would give more valuable suggestions, and briefly introduced the application of the Pujiang project of our School in recent years.
The applicants had one-on-one counselling with five experts in turn. The experts carefully listened to each teacher's report on the project application content, research plan, research basis and personal introduction, then put forward targeted suggestions and guidance from the perspectives of scientific problems, innovation points, research significance, logical relations and research basis, to help teachers further clarify the research ideas and framework.
Zhao Laijun showed gratitude to the experts for their valuable opinions on the application of the young teachers' project at our school in his concluding speech.
This was the second counselling activity held this summer, and in the future, Business School will hold more special counselling to help teachers understand the application project and improve the quality of the application.
