On July 3rd, 2023, Zhang Qinglong, head of the Department of Finance, led finance studentsto the Bank of China, Yangpu branch to participate in the 2023 "Bank of China Wisdom Valley" summer internship.
Liu Qin, director of the Administrative Institutions Department of Bank of China, Yangpu branch, welcomed the interns and introduced the specific arrangement of internship rotation and the selection of student president in five departments, including Personal Finance Digital Department, Corporate Finance Department, Transaction Banking Department, Operation Center and Inclusive Finance Department.
Then, Yuan Mengjie, head of the Personal Finance Digital Department; Wang Jingru, head of the Corporate Finance Department; Yang Yuwen, head of the Transaction Banking Department; Ouyang Tingting, head of the Operation center, and Zhao Wenwen, head of Inclusive Finance Department, introduced the business situation and internship requirements of their respective departments. Zhu Linglin from HR Department also introduced the relevant rules and regulations, internship requirements and assessment regulations of the Bank of China.
Zhang Qinglong expressed his gratitude to the Bank of China, Yangpu branch for the careful arrangement of the internship, and asked the students to strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the Bank of China and confidentiality system, fully showing the quality and spirit of university students, take the initiative in the work, learn and consult the leaders and teachers of Bank of China humbly, and apply the knowledge acquired to the internship. He also emphasised personal health and safety precautions during internships.

Before this, on June 29th, 2023, the Department of Finance held a "Bank of China Wisdom Valley" Mobilization Meeting for undergraduates’ summer internships. 19 students who participated in the summer internship attended the meeting. Zhang Qinglong mobilised for the internship at this meeting and introduced some preparation work before the internship.
Summer internship mobilization online meeting
This internship program is the sixth and seventh batch of internship activity since the launch of the "Bank of China Wisdom Valley" internship program. According to the voluntary application of students and the recommendation of supervisors, the Department of Finance organised 19 freshmen and sophomore students of Finance Major to participate in the internship this summer. The 19 students were divided into two batches of internship: the first batch of summer 2023 is from July 3rd to August 3rd; the second batch of summer 2023 is from August 5th to September 5th.
