On July5th, 2023, Prof. Han Yin, the leader of the Transportation Engineering Discipline of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST), led a team to visit the Department of Traffic and Prison Management of Shanghai Police College. Zhao Jing, vice dean, Liu Weiwei, head of the Department of Transportation System Engineering, and Sun Yu, a young teacher at Business School, participated in this event. Chu Qiang, deputy director of Traffic and Prison Management, Wang Yihua, director of the Traffic Management Teaching and Research Department, Chen Yongjie, and Li Zequn, representatives of young teachers at Shanghai Police College, received and participated in the event.

Chu Qiang first expressed his warm welcome to the visit of the Transportation Engineering Discipline Team of USST and then introduced the college's philosophy and discipline development history in detail from the aspects of student training mode, faculty team, and discipline construction planning. Zhao Jing introduced the students' training situation inthe Transportation Engineering Discipline at USST regarding their professional training, scientific research training, practical employment, and social services. Han Yin systematically introduced the current situation of USST, the development history of the Transportation Engineering Discipline, the advantages of discipline, the faculty and talent training situation, etc.
Both sides carried out exchanges and discussions
During the event, the two sides had warm exchanges and discussions on discipline construction, scientific research innovation, cooperation, and exchanges, exchanged valuable work experience, and were willing to continue to deepen the cooperation and exchanges. This visit and exchange event not only played a full publicity role indevelopingthe Transportation Engineering Discipline and the enrollment of graduate students at our university but also built an important platform for the in-depth cooperation between USST and Shanghai Police College.
