AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) was founded in the United States in 1916 by the business schools of 17 well-known universities such as Columbia University, Cornell University, Harvard University, New York University, Northwestern University, University of California-Berkeley, and the University of Chicago. The organization is headquartered in Tampa, Florida, USA. After nearly a century of development, AACSB's norms and evaluation standards have become the authoritative standards for global management education, and the key points of AACSB business school accreditation are to promote innovation, pay attention to the impact and contribution of the school to society, provide clear guidelines for faculty qualifications, focus on the academic contribution and professional development of faculty, evaluate executive training and highlight the management of training programs, systematize the Effectiveness Assurance (AoL) and ensure the quality of faculty teaching. Less than 5% of the world's business schools currently receive this accreditation.
