On the afternoon of March 5, the 2023 Annual Work Commendation Conference & New Semester Work Conference was held in the first conference room of Building A of the Business School. Sheng Chun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of USST, members of the leadership team as well as all faculty and staff of the Business School attended the conference.
To commend the faculty and staff who have contributed significantly to teaching, scientific research, culture, educational support and other aspects in the past year, USSTBS awarded the Outstanding Teaching Award to Wang Jiawen and other 7 faculty members; Teaching Award to Wang Xiaofang and other 11 faculty members; Outstanding Scientific Research Award to Liu Jiang and other 8 faculty members; Scientific Research Award to Wang Yaopeng and other 10 faculty members; “Mentoring Contribution Award” to Yu Qianlong and other 19 faculty members; Culture Contribution Award to Tian Fa and other 4 staff members; Service Contribution Award to Feng Chen and other 4 staff members. The awarding ceremony was presided over by Lv Ke, a faculty member of the Department of Industrial Engineering.

Sheng Chun expressed his warm congratulations to the faculty and staff members who received awards. He affirmed the achievements made by the Business School in talent cultivation, scientific research, introduction of talents and international exchanges over the past year. Sheng Chun put forward three suggestions: firstly, we should deeply study Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, aligning with national strategic needs, and planning for the development of the Business School. Secondly, we should insist on deepening the education reform to promote the high-quality development of the school. Thirdly, we should make all our efforts to accelerate the implementation of work tasks

He hoped that all faculty and staff would work together to create a positive working atmosphere.

He urged all faculty and staff members to understand the essence of the Three-Year Action Plan for the High-Quality Development of USST (2024-2026) and work towards promoting the Business School's high-quality development with full enthusiasm.
