Business School and the Institute of Contemporary Shanghai Studies Signed a Cooperation Agreement

On the afternoon of April 10, the Business School and the Institute of Contemporary Shanghai Studies (ICSS) signed a Cooperation Agreement. The signing ceremony took place in Conference Room 506, Building A, Business School’s Building. Chen Chang, secretary of the Party Branch and responsible of ICSS, Wang Qiyuan, member of the Academic Committee, and Zhang Li, director's assistant, along with Zhao Laijun, dean of USSTBS, Liu Weiwei, director of the Department of Transportation System Engineering, and Zhu Shucheng, director of the Department of Public Administration, attended the signing ceremony.

Zhao Laijun expressed his warm welcome to the visit of ICSS. He gave an overview of the Business School in discipline construction, internationalization process, etc. He also expressed his hope that the cooperation agreement would lead to further collaborations and exchanges between the two sides.

Chen Chang introduced the history and main responsibilities of ICSS. She expressed her expectation that both sides could take advantage of each other to contribute to the research & exploration of the Yangtze River Delta’s Integration and Shanghai’s sustainable urban development.

During the meeting, Zhao Laijun and Chen Chang, on behalf of USSTBS and ICSS, signed the cooperation agreement. The two sides also conducted in-depth discussions on collaborating in scientific research, team building activities, etc., which will open a new chapter of cooperation.

Following the signing ceremony, the ICSS delegation visited the Laboratory of the School of Intelligent Emergency Management and the Laboratory of Transportation System Engineering.
