On the afternoon of May 9th, the Hujiang Economics and Management Forum Series (103rd Session) was held at the Four Teachings classroom 400. Professor Liu Bin from the Department of Industrial Engineering delivered an academic report titled Research on Supply Chain Management in the E-commerce era. Some teachers and students from the disciplines of Business Administration and Management Science and Engineering attended the presentation meeting.
The report firstly introduces the afterlife of supply chain management and the core principles of supply chain management; Then, from the perspective of operation management, the research on supply chain management in recent years was introduced, including inventory decision-making, supply chain channel coordination, dual-channel supply chain operation, and supply chain management under the platform and sharing economy; Finally, based on the research, several research directions or topics for supply chain management were proposed.
Finally, Professor Liu Qinming, the Director of the Department of Industrial Engineering, summarized the lecture and the attending teachers and students had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the content of the report, creating a lively atmosphere.
