On May 9, The Hujiang Economics and Management Forum Series (104th Session) was held in the second meeting room on the fourth floor of Building A. Professor Geng Xiuli of the Department of Industrial Engineering gave a lecture entitled Research on Data-Driven Design of Smart Product Service System.
The report centered on the key points and innovations of smart product service system design. Firstly, it introduced the changes in technology, organization, economy and social paradigm brought by the four industrial revolutions. Further, in this context, it explores how the products and the services generated to deliver key values can smartly connected to meet personalized needs in a sustainable way continuously. The current challenges facing this research are presented, with a focus on distilling the driving role of data. Then, the use of the UNISON decision analytics framework was elaborated and a practical case application was presented.
Finally, Pan Fei and Wang Ting, lecturers from the Department of Industrial Engineering, commented on the report. The participating students and faculty members had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the content of the report.
