Business School Holds Seminar on EQUIS Online Briefing

On the afternoon of April 14, the Business School hosted a seminar titled “Experience Exchange on EQUIS Online Briefing,” inviting a delegation from East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) Business School. The delegation included Peng Zeyu, Vice Dean of the Sino-European International Business School (SIBSU) at ECUST and Director of the International Exchange and Accreditation Office; Pan Xuejing, Deputy Director of the Office; and Liu Lian, Senior Accreditation Specialist. Attendees from the Business School included Vice Dean Liu Weiwei, Deputy Department Heads Zhang Guang (Department of Systems Science) and Zhou Yang (Department of Business Administration), members of the International Accreditation Task Force, and staff from the International Development Office. The meeting was presided over by Liu Weiwei.

Liu Weiwei extended a warm welcome to the ECUST delegation, emphasizing that EQUIS accreditation is a critical pathway for the Business School. He highlighted the importance of the Online Briefing as a crucial phase in the accreditation process, and acknowledged ECUST Business School’s extensive experience and achievements.


Peng Zeyu expressed gratitude for the invitation and shared insights and key considerations during the accreditation process.


Pan Xuejing and Liu Lian provided professional analyses and detailed explanations on accreditation documentation, addressing potential challenges and offering strategic recommendations.

During the discussion session, participants explored key topics such as the Online Briefing workflow, strategies for responding to expert inquiries, and methods to highlight the School’s unique features.


This seminar consolidated the foundation for advancing EQUIS accreditation and served as an opportunity to strengthen the school’s global influence and drive high-quality development.
