On October 1, a delegation from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University(SPbPU) in Russia visited the Business School. The delegation included Тихонов Дмитрий Владимирович, Vice President of SPbPU; Емельянова Ольга Геннадьевна, Director of the International Education Program Office; and Shen Leyi, Manager of the Center for Chinese Students' Affairs. They were warmly received by Liu Weiwei, Vice Dean of the School, Zhu Shuicheng, Director of the Public Administration Department, and members of the Internationalization Office.

Liu Weiwei extended a warm welcome to Тихонов Дмитрий Владимирович and his delegation. He introduced the Business School from aspects such as its history, organization, staff and internationalization construction. He highlighted the School's large scale, education system, and its distinctive strengths in systems science and artificial intelligence. He expressed his hope to establish a long-term cooperation with Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
Тихонов Дмитрий Владимирович expressed gratitude for the hospitality and provided an overview of SPbPU's history, global rankings, academic disciplines, and student-faculty scales. He emphasized the majors of the School of Economic Engineering and the development of artificial intelligence at the university. He stated that the SPbPU attaches great importance to exchanges and cooperation with Chinese universities and was willing to work hard with international partners to build a global cooperation network.
The delegation also visited the Intelligent Emergency Management Laboratory, experienced the VR platform, and 3D LED virtual simulation environment.

This is a return visit following the delegation's visit to SPbPU led by Dean Zhao Laijun. As one of the outcomes of Zha's visit, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University will fully fund undergraduate students from our school to participate in a two-week academic exchange. On behalf of the School, Liu Weiwei expressed his gratitude again. This exchange has laid a solid foundation for the future cooperation between the two sides.
