Ⅰ. Introduction to the School
The Business School of USST (University of Shanghai for Science and Technology), whose predecessor is the earliest systems engineering department and system engineering research institute(1979) in China. In May 1992, the Department of Systems Engineering and the Institute have merged to the newly-established Systems Science and Systems Engineering School, which has been renamed later as the Business School in May 1999. In January 2006, the business school merged with the original Commercial School to form a new Business School. Among them, the Commercial School was founded in 1988, and its stem can be traced back to the Commercial School in the downtown area of Hujiang University in 1930s.
The business school has a long history.The school’s alumni have made a lot of achievements and have influenced all over five continents. The school covers a wide range of disciplines, has 2 Post-doctoral Research Stations (Management Science and Engineering and Systems Science), 2 first-level discipline doctoral degree authorization points (Management Science and Engineering, Systems Science), 4 first-level discipline master degree authorization points, and 10 professional degree master degree authorization points. The school has already passed AACSB international certification.
Since 2006, the systems science disciplines have been regarded as Shanghai key disciplines, Shanghai first-class disciplines, Shanghai peak disciplines and Shanghai high-level first-class disciplines.Meanwhile,the management science and engineering disciplines have been regarded as Shanghai key disciplines, Shanghai first-class disciplines and Shanghai plateau disciplines. In the fourth round of subject evaluation of China’s universities, Systems Science has ranked the third, and Management Science and Engineering ranked the 19th.
Ⅱ. Team Introduction
So far, there are 8 core members in Prof. Wei’s team including 3 associate professors, 3 lecturers and 2 Hujiang post-doctoral fellows.
Dr. Wei Guoliang is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Business School, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, and a distinguished professor of Shanghai Eastern Scholars. From March 2009 to March 2010, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow sponsored by the Leverhulme Trust of the U.K. From March 2010 to March 2011, he was an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow. In 2011, he was awarded the position plan of Distinguished Professor of Shanghai Universities (Eastern Scholar), the New Century Excellent Talents Plan of the Ministry of Education in 2012, and the Shanghai Pujiang Talents Plan in 2013. He has published over 100 papers in refereed international journals including more than 70 SCI indexed papers. He has presided over 3 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 7 local projects of Shanghai, and 5 horizontal projects of enterprises. It has won the third prize of natural science in Shanghai. He is currently a reviewer of the American Mathematical Review and an associate editor or editorial board member of two international journals.

Ⅳ. Basic Requirements
1. Be politically determined, support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and have a high sense of responsibility and dedication.
2. Obey the law, behave well, and have no violations of law or discipline or have other bad records; Get a doctor's degree in recent 3 years; Aged under 35, in good health.
3. Have obtained or is about to obtain a doctor's degree in management science and engineering, systems science and other relevant discipline before getting access to the post-doctoral program, and have published high-level academic papers in domestic or international mainstream journals to demonstrate excellent academic literacy and potential.
4. Be engaged in post-doctoral researches for full-time.
Ⅴ. Relevant treatment
1. The Postdoctoral fellow will be subsidized more than 236,000 yuan per year. Specific salary will be implemented with reference to the relevant standards of the state and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
2. The regular period of Postdoctoral fellow program is 2 years. The longest period should be no more than 6 years.
3. During the postdoctoral period, you can apply for an apartment provided for talents by our school at your own expense.
4. Those who have no professional tittle before entering the station can be identified as intermediate title once entering, and can apply for a senior title evaluation during the employment.
5. Excellent full-time postdoctoral fellows can apply for various post-doctoral programs and titles of talents in Shanghai.
6. Those who meet the outbound standards and have excellent comprehensive performance in scientific research can stay in school to teach.
