The 2021 University of Shanghai for Science and Technology Symposium on Energy and Systems was Successfully Held

In order to strengthen the academic exchanges between experts and scholars in the fields related to energy and system science, Business school, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology held the 2021 Symposium on Energy and Systems on December 3rd-5th. The forum was divided into special reports of invited experts and special reports of graduate students. He Jianjia, Vice Dean of Business school, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Professor Gao Yan, Head of System Science in Business school, Professor Li Junxiang, Associate Professor of Business school, Pan Lingying and more than 80 online and offline students attended the seminar. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Gao Yan.

This seminar mainly focuses on the exchange of cutting-edge hot issues related to energy and system science analysis and the latest research results. Affected by the epidemic situation, the conference was held online and offline. Experts and scholars from various universities in China, such as The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, Shandong University, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University, Shanghai University of Electric Power and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, participated in this seminar.

In his speech, He Jianjia, vice dean of the Business school, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, expressed sincere gratitude to all the experts who came and couldn't come to the scene because of the epidemic situation. He hoped that this seminar could strengthen academic exchanges between experts and scholars in the fields related to energy and systems science, strengthen ties with other universities, and jointly promote discipline development in the fields of energy and systems.

On December 4th, at the offline meeting, Professor Ma Tieju of East China University of Science and Technology brought an academic report entitled Coordinated development of new energy vehicle technology system, and Professor Zhang Shaohua of Shanghai University and Professor Gao Yan of  University of Shanghai for Science and Technology gave reports on Game Equilibrium Analysis of New Energy Participating in Bidding Competition in Power Market and Real-time Pricing Method Based on Demand Side Management in Smart Grid Environment respectively.

Specially invited expert Professor, Changjiang Scholar,Distinguished Young Scholar, Ma Tieju of East China University of Science and Technology, to give a site report

Professor Lin Guihua of Shanghai University and Professor Hou Jianchao of Shanghai University of Electric Power gave academic reports on the topics of Master-Slave Game Model and Its Solution and New Power System with Double Carbon Target, and finally, Professor Li Junxiang and Associate Professor Pan Lingying of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology gave reports on the topics of Real-time Pricing of Smart Grid and Dynamic Monitoring of Power Consumption and Dynamic Mechanism Analysis, Modeling and Application of Multi-energy Synergistic Coupling Energy System.

On December 5th, at the online meeting, Professor Fugee Tsung of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Professor Wang Mingqiang of Shandong University gave presentations on the topics of Industrial Data Analysis for Digital Transformation and Blockchain and Cryptography. Long employment Associate Professor Ma Linwei of Tsinghua University and Associate Professor Li Weiqi of Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute of Tsinghua made reports on Some Preliminary Experiences of Energy Strategy and Energy System Research and Research on Regional Double Carbon Target and Its Development Path respectively. The content of their report is novel and cutting-edge, which fully reflects the cross-integration and wide application of energy and systems and has aroused great interest and extensive discussion among the teachers and students attending the meeting, which has benefited them a lot.

Invited expert Professor Fugee Tsung of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to give an online report

In this forum, 8 graduate students from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, including Zhang Li, He Bingjie, Chai Bohan and Qu Deqiang, were invited to report and share related topics. Their research covered real-time pricing, power consumption monitoring, regional green economy, smart grid and microgrid, and they shared with everybody the frontier hot issues of energy and system science topics from different perspectives. The academic seminar ended successfully. Under the background of Double Carbon, the forum allowed everyone to focus on the latest research results of power system and energy system and gain a deeper understanding and study of the direction of energy and system science.
