Recently, in order to promote the excellent MBA dissertations of Shanghai universities and strive to improve the quality of Shanghai MBA dissertations, the Steering Committee of Shanghai Graduate Education of Business Administration (Shanghai MBA Education Committee), with the support of Shanghai Academic Degree Office, launched the 2020 Shanghai MBA Excellent Dissertation Contest.
There were 33 dissertations awarded the 2020 Shanghai MBA Excellent Dissertation. These dissertations, which were recommended by MBA training units of universities, had been evaluated and scored by experts, and audited by the director committee of Shanghai MBA Education and Instruction Committee. The dissertation Research on Customer Satisfaction of L Medical Consumables Sterilization Company by Wang Jinming (supervisor: Prof. Zhang Zheng), and the dissertation Research on Comprehensive Evaluation of Energy Efficiency of Company Z from the Perspective of Green Supply Chain written by Ni Jiajing (supervisor: Prof. Zhang Zheng), both won the “2020 Shanghai MBA Excellent Dissertation”.
MBA education of USST pays great attention to the quality and level of students' dissertation. The school monitors the whole process of cultivation according to AACSB international accreditation standards and strengthens the implementation of the main responsibility of quality assurance; adheres to the correct political direction and establishes the resource allocation mechanism of MBA graduate education led by cultivation quality. The academic committee and sub-committee of degree evaluation of the USST-BS are sound and give full play to the important roles of academic organizations in the construction of MBA degree authorization points, selection and appointment of tutors, validation of postgraduate training programs, formulation of degree awarding standards and disposal of academic misconduct. The university strengthens the management of dissertation and degree conferment, and highlights the requirements of academic regulations and academic ethics at the key points of dissertation; before the dissertation defense, the university strictly examines whether all aspects of MBA graduate students' cultivation meet the stipulated requirements, enforces the responsibilities of supervisors, and refines and standardizes the management of the dissertation defense process. Through the dissertation quality assurance system, the school continuously improves the quality of MBA dissertation.
