Recently, the Information Management and Information System Teaching and Research Section (Major) was approved by the Ministry of Education information management professional virtual teaching and research section member units. In 2021, the Ministry of Education issued the Notice on Carrying Out the Pilot Construction of Virtual Teaching and Research Section, which opened the prelude to the large-scale construction of grass-roots teaching organizations in universities based on the Internet. Requirements based on information technology construction virtual teaching and research section, to carry out collaborative teaching research, and points out that virtual teaching and research section is the important exploration of new grassroots teaching organization construction, the future countries will be based on modern information technology, build a batch of diverse types, dynamic open virtual teaching and research section, build teachers’ teaching development community and quality culture.
The Virtual Teaching and Research Section of the Information Management and Information System Major of the Ministry of Education is led by the Information Management and Information System Major Construction Program of Shanghai International Studies University, including Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University, Renmin University of China, Central South University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Hunan University and Zhengzhou University. The virtual Teaching and Research Section of the Information Management major of the Ministry of Education has jointly carried out the construction of the information management major, aiming to explore the operation mechanism and mode of the new grassroots teaching organization in the era of intelligent +, and to build a virtual community alliance of the information management professional construction.
