Recently, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission announced the first batch of municipal virtual teaching and Research section construction pilot list, and the virtual teaching and Research section of the intelligent + era of collaborative innovation and education quality improvement course led by Professor Ge Yuhui of our department was successfully in the list. Only two projects of our university passed the selection.
Virtual teaching and research section is an important exploration of new grassroots teaching organization construction, with cultivating moral people as fundamental task, to improve talent training ability as the core, based on modern information technology, explore the intelligent + grassroots teaching organization construction standard, construction path, operation mode, aims to build a batch of advanced concept, comprehensive, fully functional virtual teaching and research section, improve teachers' teaching ability, provide strong support for the high quality development of higher education.
The undergraduate teaching of the Business School attaches great importance to the construction of grass-roots teaching organizations and supports the innovative development of grass-roots teaching organizations. During the application of virtual teaching and research section, the Business School and the department of business administration have carefully scheduled, relying on the municipal first-class professional construction point business management features and advantages, starting from the social demand, transform the knowledge classroom to wisdom classroom, and build social network human resources education mode, to achieve knowledge, skills collaborative innovation, virtual value-added education quality effect.
The school will set the municipal virtual teaching and research section pilot project as an opportunity to continuously promote the Business School’s grassroots teaching organization to make full use of modern information technology, explore the efficient and convenient teachers’ teaching research new model which breaking time and space limit, geographical restrictions, and build teachers’ teaching development community and quality culture, improving the quality of undergraduate talent training.
