Business School Held a Kickoff Meeting for the Establishment of EQUIS Accreditation Working Group

On the morning of March 12, Business School held a mobilization meeting for the establishment of EQUIS Accreditation working group. Zhao Laijun, dean of Business School, Liu Weiwei, vice dean of the School, Zhang Guang, deputy director of Department of Systems Science, Zhou Yang, deputy director of Department of Business Administration, faculty representatives from relevant departments of the School, as well as all members of the Internationalization Construction Office attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Liu Weiwei.

Zhao Laijun firstly reviewed the history of international accreditation of Business School. He elaborated on the promotion effects of international accreditations such as EQUIS and AACSB on the high-quality development of the School, as well as the importance of enhancing reputation of Business School.

Liu Weiwei introduced the significance and purpose of the establishment of EQUIS International Accreditation Working Group. He encouraged everyone to collaborate closely in subsequent work, and jointly promote the smooth progress of the EQUIS Accreditation.

Nie Rui, international accreditation specialist of Business School, presented key aspects of the EQUIS accreditation process, including eligibility criteria, standards and criteria, Self-Assessment Report (SAR) Preparation, and Datasheets. Additionally, she provided details on the upcoming Online Briefing (OB).

In the exchange and discussion session, the participants shared their experiences and insights of the previous international accreditation work, and expressed that they had gained a deeper understanding of relevant policies of the university and the school during the report-writing process and benefited greatly from it. This also fully demonstrated that everyone had attached great importance to the international accreditation work, which was a good start for the subsequent EQUIS accreditation work.
