On the afternoon of November 4, Zharaskhan Saryyev, the dean of Farabi International Business School of KazNU, along with Chief Specialist Aizhan Zhansarbayeva and Specialist Saltanat Issakova, visited the Business School of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST). Zhao Laijun, the dean of the Business School, Liu Weiwei, the vice dean, Ge Yuhui, the executive deputy director of the Executive Development Programs (EDP) Center, and Xie Wei, the director of the Internationalization Office, participated in the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Liu Weiwei.

Zhao Laijun warmly welcomed Zharaskhan Saryyev and his delegation. He introduced the basic situation of Business School from aspects such as history, organization, staff, as well as disciplinary system. He highlighted the school's recent achievements in faculty internationalization, expansion of overseas partner institutions, and professional degree education programs.
Zharaskhan Saryyev expressed gratitude for the hospitality and provided an overview of Farabi International Business School's establishment, mission, global ranking, and scale of faculty and students. He emphasized the school's educational strengths, international collaborative programs, and partnerships with Chinese universities and enterprises.
At the meeting, both sides had in-depth discussions on cooperation in educational programs, mutual employment of faculty, joint training, and professional degree education, and reached a consensus, laying a good foundation for subsequent cooperation. This exchange strengthened the connection between the two sides and provided more valuable opportunities for international programs.
