On March 30, 2025, the 20th Asian Marathon Championships and 2025 Jiaxing Marathon concluded successfully in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. Over 20,000 runners nationwide competed alongside elite athletes from Africa and Asia. Li Minghui, an undergraduate from the Business School at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST), distinguished himself in the fiercely competitive field, securing fifth place in the men's division with a time of 2 hours, 30 minutes, and 57 seconds.
Li Minghui, a Class of 2023 undergraduate majoring in Public Affairs Management, has trained rigorously under the guidance of coach Guo Maoxing. His recent achievements include winning the men's 5000-meter race at both the 2024 Shanghai Student Games (University Division) and the University Athletics Alliance Cup (Group B). These accomplishments highlight his exceptional competitive prowess and embody the School’s spirit of perseverance and excellence.
