On the afternoon of November 25, a delegation from the Business School of Otto Von Guericke University Magdeburg(OVGU), including Executive Dean Christian Stahr, faculty member Liang Chunlan, and Head of the China Office He Linfu, visited the Business School. Party Secretary Ma Jingbo, Vice Dean Liu Weiwei, Director of the General Administrative Office Li Ying, Vice Director of the Department of Systems Science Zhang Guang, Director of the Internationalization Office Xie Wei, and others participated in the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Liu Weiwei.
Ma Jingbo extended a warm welcome to the OVGU delegation. He recalled the preliminary cooperation intentions established during his visit to OVGU in October and the recent progress of the successful signing of MOU between the two institutions.
Liu Weiwei introduced the collaborative exchanges since OVGU's first visit in April and provided a detailed overview of the School's internationalization efforts.
Christian Stahr expressed gratitude for the hospitality and introduced OVGU’s history, academic reputation, programs, and student demographics. He emphasized his eagerness to strengthen faculty-student exchanges and broaden students’ global perspectives.
Following the meeting, the OVGU delegation interacted with students. Stahr presented the university’s geographic advantages, faculty strengths, specialized programs, and curriculum framework. Students actively inquired about overseas study opportunities, course structures, living expenses, and visa procedures.
This visit established a direct channel for high-quality international education and injected momentum into deeper collaboration in international cooperation, talent cultivation, and pedagogical innovation for the Business School.
