In this talk, we model an e-commerce warehouse with uncertainty as a network of queues. The resulting models support rapid and optimal design of complex zone picking systems that meet prespecified performance targets.

Jelmer Pier van der Gaast 博士毕业于荷兰鹿特丹伊拉斯姆斯大学（AMBA,EQUIS和AACSB），主要研究方向为仓库优化、城市物流、排队论、随机过程等。研究成果主要在发表在Operations Research, Transportation Science和Queueing Systems等期刊上。
